The Giro - Switchblade Mips is our new ASTM Downhill certified full-face helmet with a removable chin bar. Everything about this helmet is optimized for downhill, and that's why it is certified to CPSC, EN-1078, and ASTM-1952-DH standards, with and without the chin bar.

The chin bar is easy to remove. Simply press the buttons under the chin bar and lift it upwards. Installing the chin bar is also child's play. The Switchblade MIPS features the new Roc Loc® Air DH Fit System, which is designed to prevent accidental adjustments when in contact with a backpack or neck brace.

When the chin bar is removed, the integrated vents behind the cheek pads help keep you cool on the way uphill to the next stage. The full-cut style gives this helmet an aggressive look and offers ASTM certification, even when the chin bar is removed.
