Take that unrivaled experience, combine it with feedback from downhill and BMX pros, and you have the winning formula. The Full-9 meets the most stringent ASTM Downhill Mountain Bike Racing standard as well as CPSC and CE bicycle safety benchmarks. Additional motocross trickle-down technologies include the Eject Helmet Removal System and magnetic cheekpads. Beyond that, the Full-9 includes features like Soundtrax built-in speaker pockets and audio cable routing, and an integrated breakaway camera mount. Add in a lightweight carbon shell, a wide field of view, Overbrow Ventilation intakes and Velocity Flow Ventilation and you have the worlds most advanced helmet for DH or BMX.

Bell - Full - 9 Fusion Mips - Features:

  • Construction: lightweight full carbon shell
  • Ventilation: 10 vents, 3 Overbrow ventilation
  • Overbrow Ventilation: Deep air inlets over the forehead bring cooling air into the helmet, which is channeled through a matrix of air channels around the head for a holistically cool helmet climate.
  • Integrated Eject®:
    This system allows first responders to carefully remove the helmet without causing additional injury to the driver.
  • Velocity Flow Ventilation:
    The Velocity Flow ventilation lets the air through a sophisticated air duct system, to flow around the head and leads them back from the helmet.
  • XT-2®: The X-Static XT2® pads are interwoven with silver threads. Quick-drying and antibacterial they have an anti-odor effect. In addition, the X-Static® pads give the driver a cooling sensation in the heat and a warming sensation in the cold, thanks to their thermal properties.
  • Upholstery - Magnefusion:
    Integrated, magnetic Cheekpads that can be removed quickly and easily even when the helmet is on.
  • Soundtrax:
    In the Full-9, all devices are available to install a sound system. Simply stow the small speakers in the designated pockets, lay cables, done.
  • Integrated Breakaway Camera Mount:
    Bell's built-in camera mount allows you to attach the portable action camera seamlessly and without any need for double-sided tape or cable ties. The removable attachment fits perfectly in the ventilation hole at the top of the helmet, keeping the camera in the ideal position and leaving no marks on the helmet after disassembly.
  • Breakaway Screws:
    Bell's visor bolts are easier to break when dropped to avoid the possibility of cutting through bent visors, another clever precautionary measure from Bell. Easy to use even with gloves

    MIPS is a slip-plane system inside the helmet that has been designed to slow down or prevent the amount of energy being transmitted to the head or away from the head.
