Designed with key crossover technologies from our award-winning moto helmets, the Bell - Full - 9 sets the standard for downhill and BMX riding.

No other helmet manufacturer is as deeply rooted in motocross as Bell. Much of what our engineers learned while developing the award-winning Moto-9 helmet has been incorporated into the Full-9. Take this competition-leading expertise and combine it with feedback from downhill and BMX pros: That's the formula for success. The Full-9 meets the strictest ASTM downhill mountain bike racing standard as well as the CPSC and CE bicycle safety regulations. Other safety technologies adopted from motocross include the Eject Helmet Removal System and magnetically attached cheek pads. In addition, the Full-9 is equipped with built-in Soundtrax headphone sockets and audio cable routing as well as an integrated breakaway camera mount. In the package with an extremely lightweight carbon outer shell, wide field of vision, overbrow ventilation and velocity flow ventilation, you get one of the most advanced helmets for downhill and BMX.

Construction: lightweight full carbon shell
Ventilation: 10 vents, 3 overbrow vents
Overbrow Ventilation: Deep air inlets above the forehead bring cooling air into the helmet, which is channeled through a matrix of air channels around the head and ensures a holistically cool helmet climate.
Integrated Eject®:
This system allows first responders to carefully remove the helmet without causing additional injury to the rider.
Velocity Flow Ventilation:
The Velocity Flow Ventilation allows the air to flow around the head through a sophisticated air channel system and then expels it at the back of the helmet.
XT-2®: The X-Static XT2® pads are woven with silver threads. They are quick-drying and antibacterial, preventing the formation of odors. In addition, the X-Static® pads give the rider a cooling feeling in hot weather and a warming feeling in cold weather thanks to their thermal properties.
Upholstery - Magnefusion:
Integrated, magnetic cheek pads that can be removed quickly and easily even when the helmet is on.
Soundtrax:
The Full-9 has all the equipment you need to install a sound system. Simply store the small speakers in the pockets provided, lay the cables, and you're done.
Integrated Breakaway Camera Mount:
Bell's integrated camera mount allows for seamless and wobble-free attachment of the portable action camera without the need for double-sided tape or cable ties. The removable mount fits perfectly into the ventilation opening on the top of the helmet, holds the camera in the ideal position and leaves no marks on the helmet after removal.
Breakaway Screws:
Bell's visor screws break more easily in falls to avoid the possibility of cuts from bent visors, another clever precaution from Bell. Easy to use even with gloves

MIPS is a slip plane system within the helmet designed to slow or prevent the amount of energy transferred to or from the head.
