Giro - Switchblade Mips
Then measure your head circumference in centimeters before buying. Take a flexible tape measure, place it at the widest point at the back of your head, run it over your ears and hold it together about 1 to 2cm above your eyebrows. Read the head circumference in centimeters - cm - and find your size in the size chart. Please compare the information again with the item description. Alternatively, you can determine the head circumference with a thread or string. Put the thread around your head in the same way and simply read off the measured length on a ruler.
This is an approximate conversion chart to help you find your size.

The Giro - Switchblade Mips is our new ASTM Downhill certified full face helmet with a removable chin bar. Everything about this helmet is optimized for downhill, and that's why it's certified to CPSC, EN-1078 and ASTM-1952-DH, with and without a chin guard.
The chin guard is easy to remove. Press the buttons under the chin bar and lift it upwards. Also, the installation of the chin guard is very easy. The Switchblade MIPS features the new Roc Loc® Air DH Fit system, which is designed to prevent accidental misplacement when in contact with the backpack or neck brace.
When the chin guard has been removed, the built-in vents behind the cheek pads help keep a cool head uphill on the way to the next stage. The full-cut style gives this helmet an aggressive look and provides ASTM certification, even if the chin guard has been removed.
